Cost of advice

How much does it cost to get help or advice?

The short answer is help and information is free and we charge a fee if we give you financial advice.

The longer answer is most people feel comfortable with our three-step process:

  • 1 Putting your toe in the water - we need to get know each other
  • 2 Analysis and research - we will analysis your pensions and research your options
  • 3 -Financial advice - we will recommend the best solution for your circumstances

In most cases we don't have to charge a fee until step 3 and will agree our fees in advance of any chargeable work. Normally, our fee can be taken from your pension pot so don't have to write a personal check

We know you will want to know what our fees are so look at the cost of advice tool at Unbiased.com, as we try to keep our fees in line with those quoted on this independent and unbiased website.

Advice doesn’t have to be expensive

If you agree that financial advice is important, what is stopping you from getting advice?

There are three reasons why you may be put off from getting advice:

  • You think you can make your own decisions without help from an adviser
  • You may think it is too complicated
  • You may be put off by the thought of paying fees

There are so many different options and possible solutions so you will probably not be able to research all of these without help from an experienced adviser.

Advice doesn’t have to be complex and a good adviser like Eadon & Co will help explain your options in language you understand help you make the right decisions.

Advice is not expensive if you consider how much added value you get from good advice. We are passionate about giving our clients the best possible advice and service. Our clients value and appreciate the advice we provide and understand that me must charge a reasonable fee for the work we do.

We work on the principle that the fee for our advice = our business costs + the value we add.

Our costs are measured in purely monetary terms, but the value we add is measured in both monetary and personal terms. For instance, good advice may result in the highest income option, a competitively priced pension plan or superior investment solutions, but it will also provide peace of mind and security which you cannot put a price on.

You will be in safe hands with us. We are regularly asked by the national press and broadcasters such as the BBC to comment on financial matters.
